Asha
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
My name is Joanna, I’m known in the office as “Asha”. I have been Dr. Murphy's clinical assistant since 1999 and became a certfied orthodontic assistant in 2004. I love being the chairside assistant that helps Dr Murphy create new smiles. My expertise is clinical photography. Personally, I grew up in Poland where I attended a teaching university. My true profession is being Mom to my two children. In my free time, I love to read, garden, teach at a Polish school and spend time with my family.

Financial Coordinator
My name is Christina and I am the Financial Coordinator at Dr. Murphy's office. I am available to answer your financial questions and assist with your insurance paperwork. I joined Dr Murphy's team in July of 2002, after receiving my Bachelor of Science, as an Orthodontic Assistant. As I became acquainted with the many facets of the orthodontic practice, I changed roles to Financial Coordinator. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, especially taking a weekend getaway for some camping and hiking with my family.

Certified Orthodonitc Assistant
Hi! My name is Dawn. As a certified orthodontic assistant, I assist Dr Murphy with your clinical treatment. Orthodontics with Compassion is my mission. I joined Dr Murphy's team in 1988. After 8 years I decided to work closer to home to raise my children. But, I missed the Murphy Team and rejoined the staff in 2004. I am a graduate of Illinois Valley Community College with a certificate in Dental Assisting. In 2007, I became a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. My family is very special to me - we are involved in baseball, football and most recently, skiing!

Registered Dental Hygienist and Clinical Coordinator
Hello! I am Debbie, Registered Dental Hygienist and Clinical Coordinator. My role is to clinically assist Dr Murphy and to coordinate the clinical care of our office. I am proud to have worked with Dr. Murphy since 1995. My career began as an orthodontic assistant; yet I chose to return to school and graduated from Harper College with my Associates in Science and my license in Dental Hygiene. Orthodontics is my professional passion. I am truly honored to be part of such an amazing, dedicated team, with such a caring and committed leader. I most enjoy the fun we have in the office with our patients. Most of all, I cherish my time spent with my husband and children.

Orthodontic Assistant
My name is Joanna and my nickname is "Joey". I joined Dr Murphy's team in June of 2006 as a clinical orthodontic assistant. I am a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Orthodontics fascinates me, meeting new patients and performing clinical excellence is my delight. In my spare time I love to read and spend time with my family.

Scheduling Coordinator
Hi! My name is Nicole and I am Dr. Murphy's Scheduling Coordinator. I am the team member that greets you upon your arrival. My role is to ensure that you are seen in a timely manner and to assist you with your future appointments. I recognize that time is precious to everyone and that the time spent in our office will be well utilized and enjoyable. I joined Dr Murphy's team in 2003 following 2 years experience in a dermatology office and 4 years as United Airline’s reservationist. I love customer service and feel this is what I do best. My personal time is spent enjoying the company of family and friends. Since my father passed away in 2004, I prioritize my leisure time with my mother, sister and our dog, Annie.

Orthodontic Assistant
My name is Sara. I am Dr. Murphy's clinical orthodontic assistant. I have been with Dr Murphy's office since October of 2005. We have the best team here, I so enjoy working with Dr. Murphy and our team. We have fun while creating new smiles. I am a graduate of Harper College with an associate degree. In my free time I love being with my family, and seven nieces and nephews. Each summer we plan a weekend camping trip that is so much fun.

Treatment Coordinator
Hi! My name is Suzanne and I am the Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Murphy. As Treatment Coordinator, I coordinate new patients' examination, diagnostic records and treatment plans. I personally spend time with the new patient and family throughout the examination appointment with Dr. Murphy. We focus upon the clinical-dental concerns and the patient's needs. I have been Treatment Coordinator since 2005. I really appreciate our wonderful team and all of the amazing patients I meet every day! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my three extremely amusing children.
